Chiropractic Adjustment

According to a recent chiropractic article, 60 to 80 percent of the population in North America will suffer from back pain or injuries at some point during their lives, with one to five percent suffering from chronic back pain that lasts six months or longer. In order to address this common condition, we assess your specific condition and implement the safest and most effective subluxation correction methods. We provide advanced chiropractic manipulation and subluxation treatments by utilizing the latest chiropractic techniques and technology. Our chiropractic knowledge and experience performing spinal adjustments allow us to effectively correct the alignment of your vertebrae, resulting in an increased range of motion, reduced nerve irritability and improved body functionality.

Manual Therapy

The many methods and techniques of manual therapy all involve specifically directed manual force to the body in order to improve range of motion, relieve muscle tension and to reduce musculoskeletal pain. Because we are trained in a variety of massage and other manual therapy modalities; patients seeking manual therapy treatment are assured of receiving only the finest quality chiropractic care. Our professionals carefully evaluate your condition before administering manual therapy treatment which may include traction massage, deep tissue work, soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization and more.

All manual therapies performed are meant to reduce pain and encourage total body wellness. Additional benefits of manual therapy include spasm relief, cell metabolism, disc decompression and the reduction of nerve pressure and scar tissue.

  • Passive Release Therapy:
Very similar to Active Release Therapy (ART) but the provider creates the movement for you. This is a form of deep tissue in which the contracted muscle is restricted or bound on itself and the provider compresses the point of restriction while the muscle is in a shortened length. He/she then passively moves the muscle through its full range of motion stripping out the myofacial restriction that was causing the functional issue.

  • Instrument Assisted Myofacial Release:
Very similar to Grastin Technique, the provider uses a surgical grade stainless steel instrument to strip scar tissue or myofacial restrictions out of an area in order to improve range of motion to a joint or tissue as well as decrease pain.

  • Kinesio Taping:
Also known as KT tape is applied along muscles, ligaments, and tendons (soft tissue) to provide a lightweight, external support that helps you remain active while recovering from injuries, KT tape creates neuromuscular feedback (called proprioception) that inhibits (relaxes) or facilitates stronger firing of muscles and tendons. This feedback creates support elements without the bulk and restriction commonly associated with wraps and heavy bracing. This is a great therapy for all functional related myofacial problems.
